Duties:

• Production of cabinetry in factory.
• Meeting production deadlines.
• Maintaining a high standard of work.
• Installing cabinetry.

Qualifications & experience:

• Qualified and Experienced cabinet maker is essential
• Working knowledge of drawings and designs
• Able to use CNC machine ( preferred but not essential)
• Have a good understanding of health and safety

Key selection criteria:
5 years + cabinet making experience required as a qualified cabinet maker

  Formal Qualifications:
Year 12 + Cabinet Making Certificates

Skills, abilities and knowledge:
Machinery and tool knowledge, ability to solve problems, read from drawings and cut list, ability to work unassisted and as a team member. Produce high quality cabinets within deadlines given.

Personal qualities:
Easy going personality, able to take instructions and  constructive criticism, methodical and consistent, Polite and presentable.

Special requirements:
Able to work overtime at short notice.

Ideal industry background:
Cabinet manufacturers , building site experience

Ideal current organisation:
Custom cabinet makers

Duties:

Under the direct supervision of, and personal mentoring from team members,  an interesting, fulfilling and exciting  four year Apprenticeship is offered, involving:

• Production of cabinetry in factory;
• Meeting production deadlines;
• Maintaining a high standard of work;
• Installing cabinetry;
• Offsite curriculum coursework;
• Working as a highly valued member of the team.

Qualifications & experience:

• A keen interest in developing knowledge of  and working with drawings and designs;
• Developing an aptitude for the operation of interesting CNC production equipment;
• Development of a good understanding of health and safety;
• Possession of an Australian  C class drivers Licence, that includes a manual vehicle, will be highly regarded, but not essential.

Key selection criteria:
A passion to become a qualified cabinet maker; and progress with us over time, into management.

 Formal Qualifications:

Year 11 or 12 educational certificate is essential

Completion of   1^st, 2^nd or 3^rd year Apprenticeship  programme, progressing toward a cabinetmaker qualification will be highly regarded.
